FLIGHT TRAINING
Take the controls.
Earn your wings.
Discovery flights for the curious. Structured pathways for aspiring pilots. Train at Kajjansi, guided by passionate aviators who want to see you succeed.
Taught with the care this craft deserves.
We teach flying the way it should be taught: slowly, deliberately, and with reverence for the craft. We’re not a license factory. By training just a handful of students at a time, we ensure every hour logged is true instruction. Whether you’re a beginner or returning to the cockpit, you’ll find our school built for the long view, led by a small and passionate team with years of experience navigating East African skies.

entry requirements
You don't need a science background to start. You need curiosity, and a Saturday morning.
Most of our students aren't ex-military or engineers. They're entrepreneurs, students, and adventurers who booked a discovery flight - and never quite came back down.
The UCAA sets the bar, we help you clear it. From your Class 2 medical to the paperwork most students find intimidating. If you're missing something, tell us on an introductory call; we've almost always seen it before.
Minimum Age
You must be at least 17 years old at start of training
Education
All you need is a high school Diploma, such as A levels, IB , UACE or equivalent. A solid understanding of Maths, Physics, and English will advance your pilot career even quicker.
Medical Health Certificate
A valid Class 2 Medical Certificate from an approved aviation medical examiner . We guide you through this routine health and vision checkup.
Study commitment
Plan for about 100–150 hours of self-study throughout the course. It sounds like a lot, but broken down week-by-week alongside your flying, it flies by! The average full course takes 6-8 months to complete.
Language
You need to demonstrate English language proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or higher).
Budgeting for Costs
The total estimated cost for the PPL program is around USD 13,000, covering ground school certfified instructors, exams, uniforms, books, fees, and a minimum of 45 flight hours in our private Cessna 172.
We offer a flexible pay-as-you-fly rate of USD 249 per hour , and bundle deals with a discount.
